Jio Tele Verification Number & Steps

Those customers who have purchased their Jio SIM Card via eKYC option using their Aadhaar Card, there is no need to go through the Tele-verification process. After successful verification, the SIM will be activated. However, if you have not used your Aadhaar Card, you need to call the below numbers to activate your sim card:

Jio Tele-verification number for data and call services: 1977
Jio Tele-verification number for only data service: 1800-890-1977

Please be updated that as per the TRAI rules, without positive tele-verification, the customer’s connection can not be activated.

  27. It’s a huge hassle to call and tele verify my recently ported jio sim… Whenever I call it just gets disconnected. Have visited Jio store as well and it turned out to be useless. Called customer care also and that too went in vain. It seems porting the number was a huge mistake.

    • Yes.I can’t contact with this number.in Truecaller shown this is a ICICI bank number

First call 1977 – it will ask you for televerification code – you should enter any random 5 digit number and then select 1 for confirming the verification number – it will say that it is wrong and then it will give u alternatives for verification- like by using your last 4 digits of aadhar card number which you have used while buying the jio sim -enter it then enjoy 👍

    Then press 1 for confirm.
    Now two option
    Choose option 2 no alternate number
    Choose adhar card
    Enter last 4 digit of ur adhar
    Now verification Complete
